Join us for a fun and engaging 10-week Drama Club led by North Jackson! The club meets after school every Thursday for 10 weeks, beginning August 13, and gives students the opportunity to explore the exciting world of drama and theatre through interactive games, creative movement, storytelling, and imaginative play.

Designed with Southern Raised Learning students in mind, Drama Club provides a supportive environment where students can build confidence while developing important social and communication skills. Activities are adapted to meet students where they are and encourage participation at every level.

Students will:

- Discover the basics of drama and theatre

- Learn to recognize and express emotions through facial expressions, voice, and body language

- Practice communication and social interaction through role-playing and group activities

- Build confidence speaking and performing in front of others

- Develop teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving skills

- Participate in improvisation, storytelling, and simple performance activities

- Have fun using their imagination in a positive, encouraging environment

No prior acting experience is necessary. Whether students love to be in the spotlight or are just beginning to explore creative expression, Drama Club offers a welcoming space to grow, connect with peers, and discover the joy of performing.
